FAQ
Domain questions
Do I own the domain?
Yes. The domain is registered in your name as registrant, with your contact details on record. We are the reseller handling it for you, not the owner. You can transfer it away at any time after the registry's minimum holding period.
Can I register a .ae domain from outside the UAE?
Yes. The .ae registry has no residency or local-presence requirement, and registration is fully online with no paperwork. That is not true of every Gulf TLD — see the next question.
What do I need for a .sa domain?
The Saudi registry requires a registered Saudi trade licence or equivalent proof of entitlement to the name for commercial registrations. Send us what you have and we will tell you before you pay whether it will be accepted.
Is WHOIS privacy available?
For gTLDs such as .com and .net, yes — ask us and we will enable it. Gulf ccTLD registries each have their own rules on registrant data, so privacy options there are more limited.
Are domain registrations refundable?
No. Once a domain is registered with the registry, the fee cannot be recovered — that applies to every registrar. This is set out in our refund policy.
What happens if I let a domain expire?
Most registries allow a grace period followed by a redemption period, during which recovery is possible but carries a significant registry fee. After that the domain drops and anyone can register it. We send reminders precisely so this does not happen.
